Geologists with the United States Geological Survey have predicted that the Harbour Pointe neighborhood of Brandermill will fall into Swift Creek Reservoir by the year 2050.

“Our geologists have discovered a significant fault line that runs along the edge of the Harbour Pointe neighborhood. It’s only a matter of time before the entire neighborhood collapses into Swift Creek Reservoir.”

Once part of the land mass known as Woodlake, Harbour Pointe slowly drifted across Swift Creek Reservoir and collided with Brandermill sometime during the Paleozoic Era.

This recent discovery has Brandermill residents referring to Harbour Pointe by nicknames such as “Old Woodlake” and “The Florida of Brandermill.” A spokesperson for Harbour Pointe could not be reached for comment.

In light of this information, the Brandermill Community Association issued a heartfelt statement of sympathy for the residents of Harbour Pointe, but maintained that “the HOA covenants will be enforced until the entirety of the neighborhood is under water, at which point maritime law will take effect.”

Bonefish Grille assured the community that they will continue to operate until it is no longer safe for their customers and staff. Texas Roadhouse is on the south side of Hull Street and will not be affected by the collapse.
