Neighborhood Dad’s Emotional State Directly Linked To Condition Of His Lawn

The emotional state of neighborhood dad Aerate N. Seed is directly linked to the condition of his lawn, sources report.

When Seed’s lawn is in prime condition, his emotional state is generally described as “peaceful and pleasant” by his wife and children. He arises in the morning well-rested and chipper, ready to tackle the new day.

When his lawn is struggling, it’s another story. “He seems tired, irritable, and unmotivated,” his wife told us. “I can look out at the lawn first thing in the morning and predict his mood for the coming day.”

Seed isn’t the only neighborhood dad to experience this phenomenon. Dozens of Brandermill fathers have opened up about their feelings of being “grangry,” a play on the words “grass” and “angry.” This feeling is also referred to as “granxiety” or “turfmoil.”

While medication can help, most dads have found group therapy to be extremely beneficial. “We get together on someone’s front porch, stare out at the lawn, and have a few cold ones. That seems to put everything in perspective.”
