Polyphony Digital, developer of the popular racing video game Gran Turismo, announced on Wednesday that Brandermill Parkway has been added to its track lineup.

“We listened to our fans,” said lead developer Haio Driftsalot. “While we were completely unaware of the existence of the Brandermill community, we received countless emails from racing enthusiasts around the world that Brandermill Parkway is an exceptional road for testing the limits of driver and machine.”

“In the dedication to a realistic driving experience that you’ve come to expect from our series, players will be able to tailgate other vehicles driving the speed limit,” Haio continued. “Additionally, there are NPCs, or non-player characters, attempting to cross Brandermill Parkway to access Swift Creek Middle and Commodore Point. Players will receive a higher standing if they avoid colliding with the NPCs.”

In addition to the new track, developers have added several new vehicles specifically designed for use on Brandermill Parkway, including badly-modified Honda, poorly-maintained SUV, and oversized pickup truck.

Brandermill Parkway is now available as a downloadable add-on to Gran Turismo 7. For an additional fee, players can purchase a bundle that includes Millridge Parkway and Charter Colony Parkway.
